Spread Joy with Random Acts of Kindness: Wk 12

Join the East County RAK Challenge. Let's show our kids how fun it is to bless others.

By Lindsay Rizzo March 10, 2020

We've all seen the look on our kids' faces when they find a painted rock on the way to the library or walking through the park. The joy they experience while hiding the rocks for another child to find is equally satisfying. If you haven't experienced this, now's your chance! Teaching our kids to think of others is so similar to the act of giving gifts, only this costs you nothing! Watching them creep through the park, slowly contemplating the very best spot for another child to see this particular rock brings so much joy to my mama heart.

There are entire social media pages devoted to the act of painting, hiding and/or finding these rocks. Be sure you join either Santee Rocks, Lakeside Rocks or El Cajon Rocks Facebook pages so we can follow along with one another where your kids have had the best finds!

I have to say, the impressive designs I see on these rocks makes the hunt all the more intriguing. I, myself have found it hard to hide some of these when I just want to put them on display in my home!

Have fun out there, and thanks to all of you who create these rocks to add to the circulation!

Til next week, be sure to follow us on Facebook, where we post these challenges each Sunday.

XO,

Lindsay
