Little Free Libraries in East County
Little Free Libraries are a global phenomenon. The small book exchanges number 36,000 around the world in 70 countries — from Iceland to Tasmania. Our Little Free Libraries have joined the international movement to share books, bring people together and create communities of readers.
Various East County residents have teamed up with Little Free Library to build these little book houses for the community. After construction of the Little Free Libraries, residents (and sometimes their neighbors) painted them and stocked them with books for you to enjoy.
